Academic Dual Enrollment in Baldwin County/Gulf Shores

Eligible high school students attending a public school in Baldwin County have a variety of options for Dual Enrollment classes:

Coastal Alabama Community College provides college credit opportunities to eligible high school students through the Alabama Community College Board of Trustees’ Policy. This policy allows eligible students to enroll in college classes while still in high school and receive both high school and college credit at the same time!

Coastal Alabama Community College is excited to offer dual enrollment for qualifying students in Baldwin County. 10th-12th grade students attending a public high school in Baldwin County can take academic Dual Enrollment courses for 50% off Alabama’s lowest tuition!

  • Take a 3 credit-hour course like English, Math, History, Speech or Music for just $243. Take a 4 credit-hour course like Biology or a Foreign Language for just $324!
  • Take courses at any Coastal Alabama Community College campus or online! No more restrictions on location or class type.
  • With no credit-hour restrictions, students can graduate high school with an associate degree or complete their degree in one or two semesters after graduation.
  • As a student, you have access to college activities, the college bookstore, library services, and all other amenities Coastal Alabama has to offer.

Discounted rates apply only to Dual Enrollment courses in the Fall and Spring semester. Full tuition and fees apply to all Accelerated Program classes and Summer semester dual enrollment courses.

Career Technical Dual Enrollment

Courses are offered through Coastal Alabama at the Baldwin County technical centers, the Fairhope Academy, the Foley Technical Center, at some high school campuses, and the Atmore and Gulf Shores Campuses. Technical programs are covered by a scholarship fund and are tuition-free for students.  Books and/or lab fees may be required and are the responsibility of the student.
