The Schmieding Foundation

The Schmieding Foundation was established by Hubert C. Schmieding and Lawrence H. Schmieding in 1973.  The Schmieding brothers, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, began their career in buying, selling and transporting fruits and vegetables.  H. C. Schmieding, H. E. Schmieding, and L. H. Schmieding started their produce company in Springdale, Arkansas in 1936.  The Schmieding Foundation mission is to improve the life and outlook in the youth of tomorrow and the elderly today. Paths for Success Foundation is a non-profit organization designed to assist Alabama citizens in obtaining skills, credentials, and/or certifications that lead to gainful employment.
