Coastal Alabama Community College Names Dr. Mary Beth Lancaster Vice President and Chief Academic Officer

Coastal Alabama Community College is excited to announce Dr. Mary Beth Lancaster as its Vice President and Chief Academic Officer.  In this position, Dr. Lancaster will provide additional support and direction for various campuses, while overseeing the tremendous efforts of the College’s instructional units.

Dr. Lancaster brings more than 33 years of higher education experience to this role to include serving as an English and Public Speaking instructor, in various administrative roles, and most recently, as the Dean of Academic Instruction.

In addition to her contributions to the Academic Instruction unit, Dr. Lancaster has served on many statewide committees to include the Alabama Articulation and General Studies Committee.

“Dr. Lancaster continuously seeks ways to advance higher education opportunities for our students and has proven time and time again that her devotion to our students and their success is her priority,” Dr. Aaron Milner, President, said.  “For this, I am honored to have Dr. Lancaster as a valued member of our administrative team at Coastal Alabama.”
