Georgia-Pacific Naheola Signing Day — Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (Naheola Mill)

This week, Coastal Alabama Community College--Thomasville Campus, hosted the inaugural Georgia-Pacific Naheola Signing Day in support of Georgia-Pacific’s Naheola Mill Maintenance Apprenticeship Program. This event marks a major milestone for our Career Technical Department, our college, and Georgia-Pacific, as we continue building strong pathways from education to meaningful careers.

Representatives from Georgia-Pacific gathered alongside current employees to celebrate our students and formally sign “letters of intent” to begin the next step toward careers in maintenance at the Naheola Mill. The day reflected not only the opportunities ahead for our signees, but also the commitment and collaboration required to develop a skilled workforce for our region.

We are incredibly thankful for this partnership, and the continued investment Georgia-Pacific is making in our students’ futures. We look forward to seeing our students grow, succeed, and thrive in the workforce.
