THOMASVILLE, AL – For the Collins sisters, academic excellence is more than an achievement—it’s a family tradition.
On Friday, April 10, Stevie Grace Collins was named to the All-Alabama Academic Team during a ceremony hosted by the Alabama Community College System in Birmingham. She was also one of just seven students statewide selected as a Coca-Cola Scholar.
Her accomplishments continue a remarkable family legacy. In 2022, her older sister Haven Collins earned recognition on the All-Alabama Academic Team. Two years later, in 2024, sister Karis Collins also received All-Alabama Academic Team honors and was named a Coca-Cola Scholar.
The three sisters, daughters of Stephen and Dawn Collins of Thomasville, were actively involved in Phi Theta Kappa’s Phi Upsilon Chapter, the college’s honor society serving the Thomasville, Monroeville, and Gilbertown campuses. Each sister held a leadership role within the organization—Karis served as president, while Haven and Stevie Grace both served as Vice President of Leadership. In addition, all three participated in a variety of campus organizations and activities.
Haven earned her bachelor’s degree last year and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in higher education at Mississippi State University. Karis is working toward a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Mississippi State University. Stevie Grace, however, is charting her own path. After graduating from Coastal in May, she plans to attend the University of Mobile, where she intends to pursue a degree in worship leadership.
