Course Overview:
This course fulfills the requirements for training to sit for the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians Certification Exam. Emphasis will be placed on the knowledge, skills, and techniques of phlebotomy and specimen collection in a variety of patient populations. Upon completion of this course, the student should demonstrate competency through written examination and clinical skills performance.
