Course Overview:

In Alan Samry's writing class, students will explore their imaginations and experiences and begin writing them down! Reading assignments will be given before each class to use for in class discussion and fun brainstorming writing exercises. All writers will learn about and experiment with writing fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, screenwriting, and illustrated books/graphic novels. Students will be given feedback on how to improve their writing. Already taken Creative Writing? Enroll again for additional readings and instruction, advanced exercises, and feedback on your writing progress.
