Applying for Graduation

“Graduation” and “conferral of degree” have the same meaning and refer to the date your degree is officially awarded. Our graduation ceremony is an event held once a year. Attending the graduation ceremony does not guarantee that your degree will be conferred.

It is the student’s responsibility to meet the stated deadline for applying. Failure to submit the graduation application by the closing date may delay degree conferral and could result in ineligibility to participate in the graduation ceremony. All students must submit a graduation application during their final semester of coursework, regardless of whether they intend to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Please review your Degree Works degree plan before submitting the graduation application. If you have any questions about your degree audit, please contact your advisor.

How to Pay the Diploma Fee

There is a $25 fee to receive an electronic and printed copy of your diploma. This fee can be paid through your OneACCS account. 

  1. Log into your OneACCS account.
  2. Click on "Make Payment, Deposits, and Payment Plans" under the Student Account section.
  3. Choose the "Make Payment" option.
  4. On the Account Payment screen, click the "+" to add the $25 diploma fee to your payment total.
  5. Click "Continue" and follow the prompts to enter your payment method and complete the transaction.

Letter of Non-Attendance Request Form

Please complete this form to request that we provide a Letter of Non-Attendance confirming that you have not completed any coursework at Coastal Alabama Community College.

Online Withdrawal Form

This form is to be used to submit a request to be withdrawn from ALL courses in which you are currently enrolled. If you only need to withdraw from an individual course(s) and will have courses remaining, you must do so through your OneACCS student account.

If you are a Pell student or receiving a student loan and have not communicated with a financial aid advisor, please do so before continuing. This withdrawal form will be disabled at midnight on the evening of the withdrawal deadline. Your withdrawal will be processed based on the automatic date stamp. Withdrawal requests submitted after the withdrawal deadline for the term will NOT be processed and you will receive the grade earned in the course.
